CODE OF CONDUCT
This center, including the parking area, is private property. To facilitate a safe and pleasant shopping experience for our guests, below is a listing of the Code of Conduct:
1. Providence Place is for shopping
2. UNDERAGED GUESTS DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Youths under the age of 18 during school hours when unaccompanied by a parent, teacher or legal guardian, will be asked to leave the center.
3. CONGREGATING
Groups of four (4) or more guests while walking, congregating, or otherwise engaging in activity that hinders the flow of shoppers, obstructs entryways or walkways, or creates a safety hazard will be dispersed. Guests in the parking garage and stairwells, utilizing the parking garage or stairwells for anything other than ingress/egress will be directed to disperse. If guests refuse to disperse, they will be asked to vacate the shopping center.
4. OFFENSIVE OR DISRUPTIVE BEHAVOR
likely to provoke a disturbance or infringe on the rights or peace of other patrons in the center, including gestures; obscenities, slurs based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or ethnicity; sexually explicit language or conduct; excessive noise or music is prohibited.
5. UNSAFE ACTIVITIES
such as horseplay, use of physical force, fighting, running, skateboarding, skating, or riding cycles, scooters, hoverboards or Segways in the pedestrian areas are prohibited.
6. OPEN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
Prohibited except in designated areas.
7. SMOKING OR VAPING
inside the center is prohibited. Designated areas are available outside.
8. PHOTOGRAPHING OR VIDEOTAPING
on center property in an intimidating or threatening manner, or in a manner that compromises the safety or security of any individual or entity at the center is prohibited. Professional photography or video not previously approved by the center is banned.
9. FAILING TO BE FULLY CLOTHED
including the absence of shirt and/or shoes; or wearing apparel that obscures, disguises, or conceals the face, unless worn for medical or religious reasons is prohibited.
10. UNAUTHORIZED COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY
or solicitation is prohibited.
11. FREE SPEECH ACTIVITY NOT AUTHORIZED IN ADVANCE
by center Management is prohibited.
12. ANIMALS
with the exception of trained service animals or service animals in training are prohibited.
13. VIOLATING ANY FEDERAL, STATE OR LOCAL LAW OR ORDINANCE IS PROHIBITED.
14. FIREARMS
(including replicas) or any object that is designed to be used as a weapon or is commonly understood to be used as a weapon are prohibited, even if otherwise legally allowed to be possessed, excluding law enforcement.
Violators of the Code of Conduct will be asked to leave the property and violators removed from the property may be subject to prosecution for trespassing in conjunction with the Providence Police Department.
